Affinity Credit Union Contributes $25,000 to Food Bank of Iowa

Des Moines, IA – Affinity Credit Union is pleased to announce a donation of $25,000 toward Food Bank of Iowa’s Building Healthy Futures capital campaign, which will help fund an expansion of the food bank’s Des Moines distribution center.

“The Building Healthy Futures initiative and Affinity’s mission statement of Building Better Lives are so well aligned,” commented Affinity CEO Jim Dean. “We are proud to support a like-minded organization such as Food Bank of Iowa and the tireless work they do to fight food insecurity.”

Affinity’s logo can also be seen on a newly wrapped delivery truck, servicing and delivering to Food Bank of Iowa partners in the Des Moines metro area.
