Citizens Community Credit Union Announces 2024 Scholarship Recipients

May 3, 2024

FORT DODGE, Iowa – Citizens Community Credit Union is pleased to announce the winners of our 2024 scholarships. Each year, Citizens awards two $2,000 scholarships to graduating seniors that are members of the credit union. The winners are determined by a panel of judges based on involvement, community service, work experience and an essay. Entrants are asked to write an essay of 500 words or less on the following topic: “People Helping People” is a common theme in the credit union movement. As you move into adulthood, how do you intend to incorporate this philosophy into your life?

Congratulations to this year’s two winners that were chosen from nearly two dozen applicants:

Gabrielle Driscoll, of Otho, is the daughter of Darren and Carrie Driscoll. Gabrielle is a senior at St. Edmond Catholic High School in Fort Dodge and plans to attend the University of Iowa in the fall.
