Corda Credit Union Pledges $50,000 to NewBo City Market

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA, August 22, 2024 – Corda Credit Union has pledged to contribute $50,000 to NewBo City Market as part of the Market’s Next Level Local capital campaign.

According to NewBo City Market’s website, “the Next Level Local campaign (is) a targeted expansion that will increase our business incubation, local food access, and public events capacity.” The new design includes a grocery store, recording studio, more shopkeeper spaces, a new kitchen, and two balconies that will overlook the Market yard.

Corda Credit Union will be the sponsor for the Balcony Lounge Patio.

Corda Credit Union has a longstanding relationship with NewBo City Market. In addition to supporting a variety of family-friendly events at the Market over the years, the credit union sponsors the annual Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year Summit held at the Market in March.
