First Community Trust Announces Partnership With Affinity Credit Union

IOWA –First Community Trust, N.A. (FCT), a nationally-chartered trust company headquartered in Dubuque, has announced a new partnership with Des Moines-based Affinity Credit Union to offer investment management, retirement and trust services to more Iowans. FCT services include investment, retirement, financial and estate planning primarily through credit unions, as well as trust and estate administration.

“With this partnership, we can further our mission of building better lives and financially empowering central Iowa,” said Jeremy Smith, CEO of Affinity. “We are always looking for ways to help members achieve financial success and provide greater services to central Iowa for years to come.”

FCT has partnerships with ten other credit unions across Iowa, including locations in central and eastern Iowa and western Illinois.

Trust Officer Kristin Evans will offer onsite help and services. With over 30 years of investment analysis and portfolio management experience, Evans will work closely with members in the areas of financial planning and both retirement and non-retirement investments, as well as trust administration and estate planning.
