August 27, 2024

NORTH LIBERTY, Iowa - GreenState Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Heather Stumpf as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). With over 18 years of experience in the finance industry, Stumpf brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role.

Stumpf has been an integral part of the GreenState team since 2014, previously serving as the Senior Vice President/Controller and Vice President/Controller. As the credit union's first Controller and Finance team member, she successfully built and managed a highly skilled team to support GreenState's growth. Stumpf's passion for process improvements and efficiencies led her to establish the Finance Committee, which enhances transparency of financial performance, rules, and risk.

"Heather's deep understanding of GreenState and her strong relationships with key stakeholders within the Credit Union make her well-positioned to contribute to the organization's strategic initiatives as CFO," said Vic Israni, President/CEO of GreenState Credit Union. "Her technical expertise and leadership skills, honed over the past decade, will undoubtedly drive GreenState's continued success."

Beyond her professional achievements, Stumpf is actively involved in the community. She serves as the Treasurer of the Domestic Violence Intervention Program and is a member of the Finance Council of her church. Stumpf is also an active member of the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants, where she serves on the Financial Institutions and Career Awareness Committees, as well as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
