GreenState Credit Union Names Vikram Israni as CEO

North Liberty, IA – GreenState Credit Union is honored to announce the appointment of Vikram Israni as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Israni brings decades of credit union experience and was previously Chief Financial Officer at Wings Credit Union headquartered in Apple Valley, Minnesota. GreenState’s Board of Directors partnered with global search firm Spencer Stuart to conduct an extensive nation-wide search, which began last September.

Fred Mims, Chair of the GreenState Credit Union Board of Directors, expressed the board's goals for this appointment, "The board was resolute that we were looking for our next leader to have a strong financial background to help navigate these challenging economic times, but also someone with the charisma and character to lead our growing team. We are delighted to welcome Vikram Israni as the new CEO of GreenState Credit Union. Our board was impressed by Vic’s visionary leadership, strategic acumen, and commitment to the credit union philosophy.  We believe his experience will further strengthen GreenState’s position as a trusted financial partner for our members." 

Israni joins GreenState Credit Union as a seasoned professional with over 25 years in the financial services industry and is renowned for his deep understanding of financial dynamics and exceptional leadership abilities. He holds an M.B.A. from the American Graduate School of International Management - Thunderbird and a Bachelor of Science from St. John’s University. Israni is celebrated for his extensive experience which includes steering large teams and managing significant financial portfolios, indicating a proven track record of guiding credit unions to success.

Israni expressed his excitement about joining GreenState Credit Union, stating, "I am honored and eager to lead GreenState Credit Union on their next chapter.  With the organization’s tremendous reputation and commitment to its members and communities, this is an exciting opportunity.  I look forward to working with the dedicated team at GreenState to continue delivering exceptional products and services as well as innovative solutions and savings to our members."
