First Community Trust Announces Round of Promotions to Build Upon Growth

IOWA - First Community Trust, N.A. (FCT), a nationally-chartered trust company headquartered in Dubuque, has advanced its Wealth Advisor and Trust Officer team by promoting five employees in response to continued growth. 

The series of promotions builds upon the organization’s 450+ years of combined expertise and will help FCT continue to meet the needs of consumers. The promotions also reflect FCT’s commitment to providing clients with the highest level of performance and service. 

FCT’s recent promotions include:

  • Sarah Reicks (Dubuque): Promoted to Senior Vice President, Wealth Advisor & Trust Officer where she will provide leadership to FCT’s wealth advisor team with holistic financial planning and continue her current duties serving and helping clients in the Dubuque office with retirement income strategies, risk-based investment management, and trust administration and estate planning. 
  • Ron Brosius (Dubuque): Promoted to Senior Vice President, Wealth Advisor & Trust Officer where he will provide leadership to FCT’s wealth advisor team with holistic financial planning and continue his current duties serving and helping clients in the Dubuque office with retirement income strategies, risk-based investment management, as well as trust administration and estate planning.
  • Luke Mann (Dubuque): Promoted to Senior Trust Operations Specialist where he will maintain operational controls for FCT with a focus on account reconciliations, transactional reviews, and record keeping. He will also support in implementing departmental efficiencies and lead training for new hires. 
  • Mikayla Spires (Dubuque): Joined the Compliance Team as a Compliance Associate to provide support with the ongoing development, review, and execution of FCT’s compliance function.
  • Jason Freese (Des Moines): Promoted to Vice President, Wealth Advisor & Trust Officer where he will serve Greater Iowa, MEMBERS1st, and River Valley credit unions in Des Moines and Ames helping members with holistic financial planning, retirement income strategies, risk-based investment management, as well as trust administration and estate planning.
  • Lisa McCool (Cedar Rapids): Promoted to Vice President, Wealth Advisor & Trust Officer where she will serve Collins Community Credit Union in Cedar Rapids, helping members with holistic financial planning, retirement income strategies, risk-based investment management, as well as trust administration and estate planning.
